3-Star 2026 Offensive Tackle Landry Brede flipped his commitment from NC State to Ohio State yesterday.

Brede originally verbally committed to NC State on June 25th after taking an Official Visit to Raleigh. Before choosing to run with the Wolfpack, Brede had also taken Official Visits to UNC and Pitt.

NC State offered Brede on February 5th.

Everything changed when Brede picked up an offer from the Buckeyes on September 6th. Brede is an Ohio native, playing for Mentor High School (Mentor, OH).

Rivals ranks Brede as the #46 Offensive Tackle nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, and the #26 player in the state of Ohio.
