This past weekend, 5-Star 2026 Point Guard Dylan Mingo (6’5″/190) was scheduled to take an Official Visit to NC State. I confirmed with him that he was unable to make it, due to weather conditions in New York. He didn’t confirm whether or not he would be rescheduling it.

Mingo is a consensus 5-Star prospect, and Rivals ranks him as the #2 overall player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, the #1 Point Guard and the #1 player in the state of New York.

NC State offered Mingo back on June 25th. The Wolfpack coaches were in to watch him back at the end of April.

Mingo has already taken Official Visits to Washington, Miami, UCONN, Alabama, Penn St. and Baylor. ZagsBlog expected him to take a final Official Visit to Oklahoma after visiting Raleigh this past weekend.

He plays for Long Island Lutheran in Brookville, New York.
