NC State Baseball’s History in the NCAA Tournament

NC State’s Baseball squad will begin play in the 2019 NCAA Tournament tomorrow, marking the 31st time the Wolfpack have advanced to the Dance.

They have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 5 consecutive seasons, and 15 of the last 17.

In the past 6 trips to the Dance, the Wolfpack has advanced to the Regional Finals each time. In total, NC State has advanced to the Regional Finals 9 times since the Tournament moved to a 64 team format (1999).

The Wolfpack have advanced to the Super Regionals 4 times since the Tournament moved to a 64 team format. They also reached the equivalent of the Super Regional in former Tournament formats on two occasions (1991 & 1968).

NC State has advanced to the College World Series twice (2013 and 1968).

NC State’s overall record in the NCAA Tournament is 53-60.
