After Week 6, former NC State Quarterback Russell Wilson moved past Patrick Mahomes, becoming the new favorite to win the 2019 NFL MVP award. After 1 week at the top, Aaron Rodgers’ epic performance propelled him to the top spot ahead of Wilson.

Rodgers was lights out in Week 7, throwing for 429 yards and 5 touchdowns, and adding a rushing touchdown for good measure.

Wilson had his worst performance since Week 14 of last year, compiling a QB Rating of 65.2 in Seattle’s 30-16 loss to Baltimore. He was 20 of 41 for 241 yards and a touchdown, and had an interception returned for a touchdown. Wilson also rushed 3 times for 27 yards.

The Packers are 6-1, and the Seahawks are now 5-2.
