To say that Marc Hubbard has made a difference in his first season as the NC State Men’s Soccer Head Coach would be an understatement. Heading into the regular season finale against Wake Forest (7-4-5/3-2-2) this Friday night, the Wolfpack is ranked 12th nationally in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

NC State has been ranked in the Top-25 for half the season, marking the first time they have cracked the rankings since the 2019 season, climbing as high as 20th.

This is the highest the Wolfpack have been ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll since Week 2 of the 2018 season, when they were ranked 8th.

NC State heads into their regular season finale with a 8-2-5 overall record, and a 3-2-2 conference record.

They have three Top-25 ties (#2 Stanford, #24 Virginia Tech and #21 Hofstra), and they knocked off SMU 5-1 when they were ranked 10th.
