The NC State Men’s Soccer team (8-4-5) will host Charlotte (11-2-5) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament tonight at 7pm, marking the first time that the Wolfpack has been in the NCAA Tournament since 2019.

Marc Hubbard has done an incredible job in his first season as Head Coach. Under Hubbard, the Wolfpack has three Top-25 ties (#2 Stanford, #24 Virginia Tech and #21 Hofstra) this season, and they knocked off SMU 5-1 when they were ranked 10th.

A win tonight would be the 1st postseason win of Hubbard’s coaching career.

This is NC State’s 17th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Wolfpack have advanced to the 2nd round 8 times, the Quarterfinals 3 times, and the Final Four 1 time.

The Wolfpack is 11-7 all-time against Charlotte.
