NC State Linebacker Jayland Parker is Entering the Transfer Portal

NC State Redshirt Junior Linebacker Jayland Parker has announced that he will be entering the Transfer Portal.

After 4 years in Raleigh, Parker will be looking for a new home for his final year of eligibility.

Parker was a 3-star prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2020 recruiting class out of Westside High School in Macon, Georgia.

In Week 1 against Western Carolina, when starter Caden Fordham was ejected for targeting, Parker entered the game and played a career high 48 snaps, tallying 7 tackles.

In 4 seasons at NC State, Parker played in 113 snaps in 34 games, recording 13 career tackles.

Parker is the 3rd NC State player to enter the Transfer Portal this year.
