3-Star Safety D’various Surratt Includes NC State in his Top-8

3-Star 2026 Safety D’various Surratt (6’0″/185) released his Top-8 schools on Friday, and NC State made the cut along with Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, UNC, Wisconsin, Duke, UNC-Charlotte and Sam Houston.

Surratt will be taking an Official Visit to NC State on June 6-8, and he also has Official Visits scheduled with Duke (June 13-15) and Virginia Tech (June 20-22).

Rivals ranks Surratt as the #21 overall player in the state of North Carolina (Crest High School/Selby) in the 2026 class.

NC State offered him on January 20th, and he was in attendance in Raleigh for their Junior Day Event on the first Saturday in February.

This past Fall, Surratt had 43 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 4 interceptions and 4 pass breakups for the Chargers.
