3-Star RB Dylan McCoy Verbally Commits to NC State!

3-Star 2026 Running Back Dylan McCoy (5’11”/195) has verbally committed to NC State today after taking an Official Visit to Raleigh last weekend.

Rivals and ON3 rate McCoy as a 3-Star prospect, with the former ranking him as the #11 All-Purpose Running Back nationally.

Last Fall, he rushed for 428 yards and 2 touchdowns in 13 games, averaging 4.7 yards per carry for Buford High School (Buford, GA). McCoy also had 6 receptions for 62 yards.

NC State offered him a scholarship on May 6th of last year, and he also holds offers from Ole Miss, Mississippis St., Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Colorado, Utah, Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Wake Forest and others.

McCoy is the 6th 2026 prospect to commit to run with the Wolfpack.
