NC State has Offered JUCO Defensive Tackle Jowhar Franklin

NC State has offered 2026 JUCO Defensive Tackle Jowhar Franklin (6’4″/315).

Franklin has an official visit scheduled with Oklahoma State for next weekend.

Coming out of Riverdale High School (LA), Franklin held offers from Boston College, South Carolina, TCU, Maryland, Oregon State, Auburn, Washington, West Virginia, Michigan, Michigan State, USC, Kentucky, Colorado, Nebraska, Ohio State, Miami, Georgia Tech, and others. As a senior, he recorded 60 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 25 sacks, 4 pass breakups, and 3 forced fumbles.

Due to personal reasons, Franklin ended up in the JUCO ranks, playing for Dodge City Community College this past season, where he posted 19 tackles in 9 games.

He currently holds offers from NC State, Oklahoma State, Cal, Utah, Iowa State, ECU, and others.
