4-Star Safety Cortez Redding Includes NC State in his Top-4

4-Star Safety Cortez Redding (6’0″/185) is down to four schools, and NC State made the cut along with Miami, Indiana, and Ole Miss.

Redding took an official visit to NC State on June 6th. He has also taken official visits to the other schools in his top four.

247Sports ranks him as the No. 242 overall player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, the No. 20 safety, and the No. 24 player in the state of Georgia.

NC State offered him on May 6th of last year.

This past fall, Redding recorded 118 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 10 pass breakups for Jonesboro High School (Jonesboro, GA).
