NC State Men’s Soccer Jumps to #5 in the Week 2 United Soccer Coaches Poll
NC State’s men’s soccer team jumped up three spots to No. 5 in the Week 2 United Soccer Coaches Poll released yesterday. The Wolfpack defeated FIU 2–0 in their lone game last Friday.

Last week, NC State broke into the Top 10 for the first time since 2018, landing at No. 8. The Wolfpack ended last season ranked 14th in the United Soccer Coaches Poll during Marc Hubbard’s first year as head coach.
In just his second season, Hubbard has already guided NC State to history, as the Week 2 ranking marks the highest in program history.
The Wolfpack sits at 3–0 on the year and will host rival No. 12 UNC this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. on ACC Network.
