The ACC instituted a new rule this year, forcing teams to share Availability Reports in conference play, and NC State’s first one was released today, with their first conference game against Wake Forest coming up on Thursday night.

As far as I understand the rules, each team will have to issue another one tomorrow, and the day of.

The Availability Report is below.

The only player on the Wolfpack’s Availability Report that has seen action this season thus far is Junior Linebacker AJ Richardson. He’s played 69 snaps in the first two games, accumulating 8 tackles and 1 QBH.

Richardson was listed as Redshirt Senior Caden Fordham’s backup at WILL Linebacker on this week’s depth chart. Redshirt Freshman Zane Williams was 3rd string on the depth chart.

Here is the exact language of the rules from the ACC:

In football, a report will be submitted two days before each conference game (e.g., Thursday before a Saturday game), with an update on the day before the game and again on game day. In basketball and baseball, reports will be submitted the day before each conference game and again on game day.

For each report submitted before game day, student-athletes will be designated as Available, Probable, Questionable, or Out. Game Day Reports will be submitted two hours before each game. For this report, student-athletes will be designated as Available, Game Time Decision, or Out. (ACC)
