NC State Moves Up to #6 in the Week 8 United Soccer Coaches Poll
The NC State Men’s Soccer (9-1-2) team jumped from #10 to #6 in the Week 8 United Soccer Coaches Poll this week after defeating Clemson 1-0 last Friday. The Wolfpack defeated the Tigers for the first time since 2017.

NC State has been ranked in the Top-10 since the United Soccer Coaches released their Week 1 poll.
Wolfpack Junior Donavan Phillips leads the nation with 14 goals, helping propel NC State to a #6 ranking in scoring offense (2.5 goals per game). NC State is the best defense team in the land, ranking 1st in Team Goals Against Average (.167).
Next up for the Pack is game on the road against Notre Dame (7-2-4) on Friday night at 7:30pm.
