NC State Men’s Soccer Moves Up to #3 in Week 9 Coaches Poll

The NC State Men’s Soccer team (10-1-2) moved up three spots in the Week 9 United Soccer Coaches Poll, landing at #3 in the nation. The Wolfpack defeated Notre Dame 3-0 this past Friday on the road in its lone game of the week.

NC State has been ranked in the Top-10 since the United Soccer Coaches released their Week 1 poll.

Wolfpack Junior Donavan Phillips leads the nation with 15 goals, helping propel NC State to a #5 (tie) ranking in scoring offense (2.54 goals per game). Senior Taig Healy is tied for 6th nationally in assists (8).

NC State is the best defensive team in the land, ranking 1st in Team Goals Against Average (.154). Senior Goalkeeper Logan Erb ranks 2nd nationally in save percentage (.933).

Next up for the Pack is game tonight at home against #18 UNC-Greensboro (9-2-3) at 6pm on ACC Network Extra. The Wolfpack will also play another ranked game this week, heading to Durham to play #19 Duke (7-1-5) on Saturday night at 7pm.
