NC State Men’s Soccer Falls to #4 in Week 10 Coaches Poll

The NC State Men’s Soccer team (11-1-3/4-1/2) fell 1 spot to #4 in the Week 10 United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Wolfpack tied #23 UNCG (was ranked 18th at the time) 1-1 at home, and beat Duke (was ranked 19th at the time) 2-0 this past Saturday on the road.

NC State has been ranked in the Top-10 since the United Soccer Coaches released their Week 1 poll.

Wolfpack Junior Donavan Phillips is tied for 1st place nationally in goals scored (15), helping propel NC State to a #10 (tie) ranking in scoring offense (2.4 goals per game). Senior Taig Healy is tied for 8th nationally in assists (8).

NC State is the best defensive team in the land, ranking 1st in Team Goals Against Average (.200). Senior Goalkeeper Logan Erb ranks 3rd (tie) nationally in save percentage (.917).

This Friday, the Wolfpack will host Syracuse (7-6-2/4-3) at 6pm in the final game of the regular season. NC State is currently in 3rd place in the ACC, trailing Virginia (4-0-3) and Stanford (5-1-1).
