NC State is the #15 Seed in the 2025 NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament!
NC State (12-2-1) is the #15 seed in the 2025 NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament, earning a 1st round bye. This is the Wolfpack’s 18th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The Wolfpack has advanced to the 2nd round in 10 of its 18 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
NC State’s all-time record in the NCAA Tournament is 8-16-2.
Last season Marc Hubbard led NC State to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019 in his first year as head coach. NC State defeated UNC-Charlotte 2-1 in double overtime in Round 1, and beat Georgetown 2-0 in Round 2, advancing to the Sweet 16 for the first time in 30 years. Unfortunately, #13 seed Marshall eliminated the Pack 2-1.
The Wolfpack will host the winner of Marshall and Cleveland St. on Sunday, November 23rd, in the 2nd round at 6pm. Ironically, it was the Thundering Herd that knocked NC State out of the NCAA Tournament last year.
NC State is 6-7-1 all-time at home in the NCAA Tournament.
