3-Star Tight End Stephen Brown Commits to NC State!

2026 3-star Tight End Stephen Brown (6’7″/205) verbally committed to NC State yesterday.

247Sports ranks Brown as the #41 overall player in the state of Illinois in the 2026 recruiting class.

He also held offers from Texas Tech, Miami, Toledo, Western Michigan and others.

Brown took an Official Visit to NC State earlier in the month.

While 247Sports lists Brown as a Tight End, Rivals lists him as an Athlete. If you watch his highlights, Brown primarily played Wide Receiver this season at Marist (Chicago, Illinois).
