3-Star 2026 Wide Receiver Amiri Acker (6’2″/186) verbally committed to NC State today after taking an Official Visit to Raleigh this weekend.

Acker formerly verbally committed to Liberty back in June, but decommitted at the end of October.

NC State offered him back on May 25th. He also held offers from Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, South Carolina, Michigan St., Boston College, Memphis, UNLV, App St., ECU, Marshall, South Florida and others.

Rivals ranks Acker as the #11 overall prospect in the state of South Carolina in the 2026 recruiting class.

Acker had an incredible Senior season at Crescent High School (Iva, South Carolina), catching 55 passes for 1,277 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also rushed for 331 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 12.7 yards per carry.

This is a significant pickup for the Pack. Acker instantly becomes the 2nd highest rated prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2026 recruiting class according to Rivals.
