Just a Reminder…The Last Game Between NC State vs. UNC Ended in a Brawl

As we anticipate the rivalry game between NC State and UNC tomorrow night in Carter-Finley Stadium, here’s a reminder that the last time the Wolfpack and the Tar Heels took to the field, it ended in a brawl.

At the conclusion of the Wolfpack’s 35-30 victory over the Tar Heels, a brawl broke out after the home team took exception to NC State’s flag being planted in the middle of Kenan Memorial Stadium.

Senior Safety DK Kauffman might have only been a member of the Pack for one season, but it was obvious all night long he embraced every ounce of what this rivalry means. After JJ Jones threw the Wolfpack flag away, Kaufman took exception, and made sure to take a victory lap with it.

The ACC took exception with the violence that ensued at the end of the game, issuing fines to both schools.
