NC State Legend Philip Rivers Almost Led the Colts’ to an Upset Over the Seahawks

NC State legendary Quarterback Philip Rivers stepped on to an NFL football field yesterday for the first time in 1,800 days, and he nearly led the Colts to an upset over the Seahawks.

Rivers was 18 of 27 for 127 yards and a touchdown (1 interception).

The former ACC Player of the Year joined Brett Favre, becoming only the 2nd grandfather in NFL history to throw a touchdown pass.

Philip Rivers got off the couch, practiced for a few days and just threw a touchdown pass against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
