Hollywood Smothers transfers to Alabama, enrolls in classes, then flips to Texas?

Not that it matters anymore because Hollywood Smothers, NC State’s all-time leader in YPC with a career mark of 6.1, left the program for the transfer portal 4 weeks ago, but did you guys see what just happened?

Smothers, as we all know, transferred to Alabama last week. And we figured that was it, we’d never post another Hollywood Smothers article ever again.

But we were wrong.

According to recent reports, Smothers DID transfer to Alabama and even enrolled in classes there.

But just yesterday, news broke that Smothers was flipping to Texas.

Hollywood Smothers has FLIPPED his commitment from Alabama to Texas, per @hayesfawcett3 🚨

And man, the Alabama fans are livid!

This is still newer news, so the entire story hasn’t been told. Did Smothers get to Alabama and regret his decision, or did Texas suddenly find some extra cash and came back with a bigger offer?
