No. 8 NC State continued its dominance over rival North Carolina on Friday night, defeating the No. 11 Tar Heels 24-10 to secure its 13th consecutive dual-meet victory over UNC.
The Wolfpack improved to 12-3 overall and 3-0 in ACC play, while North Carolina fell to 8-2 on the season.
NC State’s streak over the Tar Heels dates back to 2014 – meaning most of the wrestlers currently on UNC’s roster weren’t even old enough to remember the last time the Heels won a dual against the Pack.
