NC State Football Now at 98 Scholarships After Most Recent Additions

Since our last 2026 scholarship breakdown, NC State has added three more players to the roster: two via the Transfer Portal and one from the prep ranks.

The newest additions:

With those additions, NC State now sits at 98 scholarship players heading into the 2026 season.

Under the new roster rules, programs are now allowed to carry 105 scholarship players, up from the long-standing 85-man limit. That gives the Wolfpack seven remaining scholarship spots to work with as roster construction continues.
