The #10 NC State Wolfpack suffered a tough 15-5 setback to #11 Florida State on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium in Tallahassee, FL. The loss concluded the ACC series with FSU taking two of three, dropping NC State to 18-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play.

Heath Andrews (2-1) got the start but struggled early, lasting just 1.2 innings and allowing six runs (all earned) on six hits with one walk and one strikeout. Cooper Consigliio came in and worked 3.0 innings but gave up five runs (three earned) on four hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

The Wolfpack offense managed five runs on nine hits, with Luke Nixon going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Chris McHugh adding a two-RBI single in the seventh, and Dalton Bargo contributing an RBI sacrifice fly. Ty Head drew a walk but went 0-for-3, and the team left eight on base while committing two errors.

FSU jumped ahead quickly with two in the first and five more in the second, building a commanding lead before adding steadily throughout. Kevin Mobil closed things out in relief for the Seminoles, and Bryson Moore earned the win to improve to 4-0.

Despite the lopsided result, NC State did show signs of life, including Nixon’s two-RBI double in the fifth and McHugh’s two-RBI single in the seventh. The Pack showed fight late, but couldn’t overcome the early deficit in the rubber match.

NC State now turns the page and will face Campbell on Tuesday, looking to bounce back from the road series loss to a strong FSU squad.
