NC State sets official time for Justin Gainey introductory press conference

As we let you know in our Monday Morning Scoop, NC State will hold a presser on Wednesday at the Lenovo Center. It will be at 2pm and will be to introduce Justin Gainey as the new head basketball coach at NC State. It’s pending a BOT approval, which happens tomorrow.

NC State Board of Trustees university affairs committee schedules emergency meeting for Tuesday at 3 pm. Board needs to approve contract for, say, a basketball coach.

Speakers will be AD Boo Corrigan, Chancellor Kevin Howell and Justin Gainey.

Following the formal introduction and Q-&-A at the podium, Gainey will do a few group interviews
