McNeese St. Transfer Guard Tyshawn Archie has Heard from NC State

According to reports, McNeese transfer guard Tyshawn Archie (6’1”, 165 pounds) has heard from NC State.

Archie is coming off a breakout junior season with McNeese, where he earned First Team All-Southland Conference honors. He averaged 14.3 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 43.3% from the field and 36.9% from three-point range.

Prior to his time at McNeese, Archie played two seasons at Tulsa, where he made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning AAC All-Freshman Team honors. Across his two seasons with Tulsa, he averaged 8.3 points per game and started 15 of 33 games as a sophomore.

With one year of eligibility remaining, Archie has drawn interest from a number of programs, including Maryland, Georgetown, South Carolina, Murray State, Texas A&M, SMU, UCF, Xavier, Miami, and others, along with NC State.
