Former NC State guard Terrence Arceneaux has found his next destination, transferring to George Washington.

Arceneaux arrived in Raleigh this past offseason after transferring from Houston, bringing expectations that he could factor into the starting lineup. He was the third-highest rated transfer to commit to NC State, behind Darrion Williams and Tre Holloman.

However, things never fully came together during his time with the Wolfpack.

Arceneaux was working his way back from a torn Achilles suffered the previous year. While he gradually returned to full strength, the production never quite matched the potential the staff had hoped to unlock.

He appeared in 30 games this season but did not make a start, averaging 3.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game.

Rivals ranks Areceneaux as a 4-star Transfer prospect, the #90 overall player to enter the Portal thus far, and the #20 Small Forward.

Arceneaux will have one year of eligibility remaining at George Washington.

He becomes the first NC State player from this year’s transfer portal group to officially land at a new program.
