Mallard also has official visits lined up with Pitt, Louisville, Georgia Tech, UNC, and Mississippi State.

NC State extended an offer to Mallard on August 26 of last year and has remained involved as his recruitment has expanded. His offer sheet now includes Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Louisville, UNC, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Florida State, Pitt, Wake Forest, Purdue, and others.

From a rankings perspective, Mallard is a consensus 3-star prospect in the 2027 class. ESPN ranks him as the No. 34 offensive guard nationally and the No. 65 overall player in the state of Georgia.

Mallard plays for Westover High School in Albany, Georgia.

With his size and growing offer list, he’s another name to watch as NC State continues to prioritize building in the trenches.
