Saints Sign NC State TE Cody Hardy as Undrafted Free Agent

NC State tight end Cody Hardy has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the New Orleans Saints.

Hardy’s stat line from his lone season in Raleigh may not jump off the page, 6 receptions for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns, but his overall impact tells a different story.

According to PFF, Hardy finished the season with an 80.9 overall grade, which ranked second on the Wolfpack offense among players with at least 200 snaps. His 77.0 run-blocking grade ranked third on the team, highlighting his value in the trenches.

NC State found a key contributor in Hardy after bringing him in from Elon via the transfer portal this past offseason.

Now, he’ll get his shot at the next level with the Saints.
