According to Jonathan Givony, NC State guards Quadir Copeland and Darrion Williams have been invited to participate in the 2026 G-League Combine, which will take place May 8-10 in Chicago.

Neither player received an invitation to the NBA Combine, which will be held the following week, also in Chicago.

Meanwhile, former NC State guard Matt Able, who transferred to UNC, was invited to the NBA Combine.

Williams, who transferred to NC State from Texas Tech Red Raiders men’s basketball this past offseason, entered the year as the ACC Preseason Player of the Year. He led the Wolfpack in scoring at 14.0 points per game, while also averaging 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals. He shot an efficient 40.4% from three-point range.

Copeland followed Will Wade from McNeese Cowboys basketball to Raleigh and put together a breakout campaign. He earned 3rd Team All-ACC honors while averaging 13.9 points per game (second on the team). Copeland also led the ACC in assists at 6.5 per game, while adding 3.6 rebounds and a team-leading 1.8 steals.

The G-League Combine provides another pathway for prospects to showcase their abilities in front of NBA decision-makers.

Last season, two former Wolfpack players, Jarkel Joiner and Dennis Smith Jr., spent time in the G-League.
