2027 offensive guard Kyson Mallard (6’5”, 310 pounds) confirmed he will be taking an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Mallard is one of several key targets the Wolfpack will host as they continue to build momentum in the 2027 recruiting cycle.

The Georgia native has a busy visit schedule ahead, with additional official visits lined up at Pitt, Louisville, Georgia Tech, UNC, and Mississippi State.

NC State extended an offer to Mallard on August 26 of last year and has remained firmly in the mix as his recruitment has taken off. His offer list now includes Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Louisville, UNC, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Florida State, Pitt, Wake Forest, Purdue, and others.

From a rankings standpoint, Mallard is a consensus 3-star prospect in the 2027 class. ESPN ranks him as the No. 34 offensive guard nationally and the No. 65 overall player in the state of Georgia.

Mallard currently plays for Westover High School in Albany, Georgia, where his size and physicality have made him a priority target for a lot of Power Four programs.

As official visit season ramps up, this weekend presents another opportunity for NC State to make a strong impression on one of the top interior linemen in the 2027 class.
