NC State continued to build momentum in its 2027 recruiting class on Wednesday, landing a commitment from wide receiver Khy’lieb Rodriguez.

The 5-foot-11, 161-pound playmaker out of Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte announced he would be running with the Wolfpack today, after a recent Official Visit to Raleigh.

Rodriguez becomes another in-state addition for Dave Doeren and his staff as NC State continues to prioritize top North Carolina talent in the 2027 cycle.

Recruitment Moved Quickly

Rodriguez’s recruitment accelerated rapidly over the last month.

NC State extended an offer on June 9 after Rodriguez impressed the coaching staff during a camp appearance in Raleigh the previous weekend.

A few weeks later, he returned for an Official Visit.

The trip clearly made an impact.

Rodriguez committed to the Wolfpack before taking a previously scheduled Official Visit to Marshall this weekend.
