Former NC State Star DJ Horne Signs with Limoges CSP in France

Former NC State standout DJ Horne is taking the next step in his professional basketball career.

The former All-ACC guard has signed a one-year contract with Limoges CSP, one of France’s most historic basketball clubs competing in the LNB Elite (Pro A), the country’s top professional league.

After spending his first two professional seasons in Germany, Horne now moves to one of Europe’s premier domestic leagues.

Moving Up to France’s Top League

Horne spent the last two seasons with MLP Academics Heidelberg in Germany.

Last season, he led the club in scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game.

That followed a strong rookie campaign in which he averaged 14.6 points per game, quickly establishing himself as one of the team’s top offensive options.

Now he’ll make the jump to France’s top division with Limoges CSP.

Joining a Historic Club

Although Limoges CSP struggled during the 2024-25 season, finishing 11-19 and placing 13th out of 16 teams in the LNB Elite standings, the club remains one of the most recognizable names in French basketball.

Horne will have an opportunity to play a significant role as the organization looks to climb the standings this season.

A Memorable Season at NC State

Horne became a fan favorite during his lone season in Raleigh.

In 2023-24, he earned Second Team All-ACC honors after averaging 16.9 points per game while helping lead NC State on its memorable run to the ACC Tournament championship and the Final Four.

His shooting ability was one of the biggest reasons for the Wolfpack’s success.

Horne knocked down 40.4 percent of his three-point attempts and set NC State’s single-season record for made three-pointers.

That mark stood until Paul McNeil Jr. matched the record during the 2025-26 season.

Familiar Faces Await

Horne won’t be the only former Wolfpack player competing in France this season.

Two other NC State standouts are also expected to suit up in the LNB Elite:
