The new AP poll is out today and the ACC has three teams ranked in the Top 25:

Florida St – 11th (-1)
Clemson – 12th (-)
Georgia Tech – 15 (+1)

Two other ACC schools received votes, but failed to make the Top 25, and NC State was one of them.

NC State – 4 votes (37th)
Louisville – 4 votes (37th)

NC State had 4 votes in the preseason poll and Louisville had 12. The Cardinals lost 31-24 to the 6th ranked Auburn Tigers. Virginia Tech also had 42 votes in the preseason poll, but didn’t receive any votes after losing to #1 ranked Ohio State and losing their starting quarterback for 4-5 weeks with a broken collarbone.
