The new AP poll is out today and the ACC has two teams ranked in the Top 25:

Florida St – 11th (-1)
Clemson – 12th (-1)

The bye week didn’t do any favors for the Seminoles and the Tigers, who both slipped backwards in a week when they didn’t play.

Georgia Tech was ranked 20th last week, but fell out of the rankings this week afte losing to Duke 34-20 in Wallace Wade Stadium.  The Yellow Jackets have lost in back-to-back weeks.

NC State received 10 votes in the AP Poll this week, which is where they were after Week 2.  They gained 5 more votes this week, and moved up 3 spots in the rankings.

The Wolfpack were one of 3 ACC schools that received votes in this weeks AP poll, but failed to make the Top 25.

Duke – 18 votes – 33rd
Miami – 14 votes – 35th
NC State – 10 votes – 38th

Miami had a bye this week, but still managed to pick up another vote.  Duke defeated #20 Georgia Tech 34-20 at home.  They received zero votes in last weeks poll.

Virginia Tech received votes in last weeks poll, but after losing to East Carolina 35-28 yesterday, they find themselves without a single vote.
