Cat Barber decided to forgo his Senior season at NC State, and recently signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. Even though he only played three seasons with the Wolfpack, he managed to leave a legacy.

Barber came to NC State as a 5-star prospect, one of 12 in the past 15 years. He was also a McDonald’s All-American, joining 14 other Wolfpack players to come to Raleigh with that honor.

Barber was an AP All-American Honorable Mention last season, and also earned 1st Team All-ACC. He is the 28th player from NC State to earn 1st Team All-ACC honors. Barber’s23.5 points per game were the 8th best average in NC State history for a season. Barber left his mark in the NC State record books for quite a few other single season categories last year.

Barber’s 9 30+ point games rank 5th in NC State history, his career scoring average of 14.5 ranks 14th, his career assists ranks 8th, and his 425 free throws in his career ranks 8th.
