As you know by now, NC State is gaining a reputation for having great college quarterbacks who go on to have good pro careers. FIrst there was Philip Rivers, then Russell Wilson, Mike Glennon, Jacoby Brissett and now Ryan Finley is getting the attention of NFL scout.

So who’s next? The answer is most likely Devin Leary.

Leary is a 4 star QB out of Timber Creek, HS in New Jersey. This is a kid with a very high IQ, great awareness, high-level leadership skills and a cannon for an arm.

As a junior, Leary passed for 3,688 yards with a 63 & competition percentage and 48 TDs. This year he’s on pace for more of the same. As it stands, with 5 games in the books, he’s passed for 1430 yards with a 62% completion percentage and 17 TDs.

As of now, he needs less than 2,000 yards and 9 TDs to reach his goal of throwing for 10,000 yards and 100 TDs in his HS career. He’s already well on his way of shattering NJ state records.

Take a look at the future Wolfpack signal caller in the early-season highlight video above.
