The Laptop and the Towels: A Children’s Story

Let me tell you a story.

Once there was a NC State football player named Bradley Chubb who was a silly fellow, who liked to roll and play.

One day he thought it would be fun to mess with the mind of Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant.

What was his sneaky plan you ask?

To steal all of his towels.

Even though he implemented his plan, stealing 3 of Bryant’s towels wasn’t enough to do the trick.

Was it funny? Me thinks so. Was it effective? No.

Clemson won.

Frustrated with the result, Chubb’s head coach Dave Doeren did a very silly (and stupid) thing indeed. He told a whole bunch of people with microphones, voice recorders and cameras that he saw a picture of a laptop on Clemson’s sideline, and he wanted it investigated.

Then Clemson’s head coach Dabo Swinney decided to tell a silly little story (that was actually hilarious) himself about towels and laptops.

Instead of telling the truth, that the laptop was used for social media, Swinney made up a story that there was a tremendous shortage of towels and the laptop was necessary to call in Amazon Now.

What will come next in the saga the laptop and the towels?

If the characters in the story decide to write a new chapter, we will make sure the story continues to be told.
