There was a day when NC State Lennard Freeman was simply a role player. He’s always bad a high basketball IQ. The Wolfpack’s offense has always run better with him in, even if he isn’t putting the ball through the hoop.
Those days are gone.
Freeman used to primarily be a rebound specialist, but through 9 games this year he leads the NATION in Offensive Rating.
“Individual offensive rating is the number of points produced by a player per hundred total individual possessions. In other words, ‘How many points is a player likely to generate when he tries?'”(BR)
Freeman is averaging 13 points per game, shooting 75% from the field, in only 21 minutes per game.
