NC State’s Will Richardson: Will He Stay or Will He Go?

Junior Offensive Tackle Will Richardson has a big decision on his hands. Will he return to NC State for his Senior season, or will he enter the 2018 NFL Draft?

Richardson has until January 15th to make up his mind.

Why would he leave?

He did earned 2nd Team All-American honors from CBSSports and ProFootballFocus. He was the 3rd highest graded offensive tackle on the 1st and 2nd PFF All-American Teams. He had the highest grade of any offensive player in the ACC not named Lamar Jackson.

Why would he stay?

I think he could take a note from Bradley Chubb. Richardson definitely could see his stock rise in 2018. He could be a 1st team All-American. He could have a clean season without a suspension, unlike this year when he missed the first two games (which was his second suspension at NC State).

Don’t be surprised to see Richardson leave, but I think he would be a early round pick next year, but this year he could slip to the middle to late rounds.
