The NC State football coaching staff has been busy this week. Yesterday, 4 more players claimed offers from the Wolfpack, and this time they all came from the state of Florida.

Jahvante Royal/WR/2020

Royal (6’3”/220) has the height that we have grown accustomed to seeing in Wolfpack receivers. He plays for St. Thomas Aquinas down in Ft. Lauderdale (Florida). The young fella also received an offer from Ohio St, Pitt, Louisville, Syracuse Dan Florida this week as well. Royal also holds offers from Bowling Green, and Cincinnati. That’s impressive for a prospect in the 2020 class.

Royal took an unofficial visit to NC State this summer.

Charles Toombs/FS/2020

Toombs (5’11”/165) is a Free Safety out of Immokalee, Florida. Toombs doesn’t currently have a profile with 247, Rivals or ESPN, but that didn’t stop the kid from snatching 10 interceptions this season as a Sophomore.

Omar Simpson Jr./CB/2021

Simpson Jr. (5’9”/160) picked up his first two offers yesterday, and they came from NC State and Pitt. He plays for Western High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Jake Pope/OT/2019

Pope (6’7”/275) is teammates with Royal at St. Thomas Aquinas. He is a three-star prospect that also holds offers from Virginia Tech, Michigan St, Syracuse, Illinois, UCF and Cindy.

Matthew is Co-Owner of Pack Insider. He writes for all sports, with a focus on football and recruiting, and is in charge of business strategy. He is an NC State alum who majored in business. Matthew is also the lead pastor of The Point Church in Cary, NC.
