NC State’s Nyheim Hines Could Go in 2nd Round

According to Jon Ledyard, NFL Draft Analyst of ProFootball Weekly, NC State running back Nyheim Hines will likely be taken in the 2nd round of the draft.

3 days out from the draft, and I would fully expect Nyheim Hines to be a top 75 pick from everything I’m hearing. Likely off the board in 2nd half of the 2nd round. Teams I know are very interested in him in that range: #Vikings, #Chargers, #Bengals (at #46!), #Cowboys (at #50!)

I’ll just lay it on the table.

I was wrong.

I thought Hines made a poor decision. I mean for crying out loud, Bryce Love decided to return for his Senior season. I thought Hines had a great season, but could have improved his stock with a full Senior season. As much as I love him, I didn’t see him possibly going this high in the Draft.

Sometimes it feels great to be wrong, and this is one of those times. The Draft officially gets underway tomorrow. It will be exciting to see just how high Hines goes.
