Terrell Dawkins, #2 DE in NC, Commits to NC State

NC State just picked up a commitment from 3-star 2019 defensive end Terrell Dawkins (6’4″/240) out of Cox Mill High School (Concord, NC).

247Sports ranks Dawkins as the #2 defensive end in the state of North Carolina. NC State already held a commitment from the #1 defensive end in North Carolina, Savion Jackson.

Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and Florida were the other 4 schools in his Top-5, holding offers from all of them. The Wolfpack kept another talented in-state player from leaving and going to traditional powerhouses out-of-state.

Dawkins is now NC State’s 21st commitment in the 2019 recruiting class. He joins a studded defensive line 2019 class of 4-star defensive end Savion Jackson and 4-star defensive tackles Joshua Harris and CJ Clark.
