VIDEO: Ryan Finley talks approach, WRs, and goal to be best QB in the nation

Ryan Finley met with the media after practice to discuss the Wolfpack offense and his goals to be the best QB in the nation. Above is the full interview and below are the bulleted highlights.

• Exciting to get out there. Unfortunately, had to go indoors because of weather so it was compact. It was fun.
• Got used to new team this spring, but it’s exciting when young guys get out here and start learning.
• Whole different approach as a veteran to bring young guys along.
• A lot more fun to have some playmakers back and see summer work come to fruition
• Chemistry with WRs is special. Nothing like I’ve ever been a part of. A lot of non-verbals and knowing what we want out of each other on certain plays. Makes it fun for everyone.
• O-line returns some experience and with new redshirt rule, it will be easier to get guys game minutes.
• In film room likes to see plays with general eyes. Shoots texts to guys about things he likes and things they can work on.
• The WRs are primed and ready to roll. No stopping them. Watching film, working hard and excited.
• Wants to be best QB in nation. That’s where mind and heart are at. Haven’t played best football yet in college. Excited to show that. With team, culture and weapons, the offensive side of the ball should be pretty special.
