NC State’s Kevin Keatts Watches 4-Star PF Henry Coleman

NC State’s head coach Kevin Keatts and Assistant Coach James Johnson were on hand to watch 2020 4-Star Power Forward Henry Coleman (6’8″/230) lead Trinity Episcopal past St. Anne’s-Belfield 66-61 for the Prep League Championship on Saturday night.

Coleman had 33 points and 11 rebounds, and sunk 4 free throws in the final 30 seconds to seal the deal.

To show just how serious they are about Coleman, Keatts was in to see Coleman again last night.

ESPN ranks Coleman as the #41 overall player in the 2020 class, and 247Sports ranks him as the #3 player in the state of Virginia.

Coleman took an unofficial visit to Raleigh back in September, and visited the year before as well. Keatts and company have been frequent visitors of Coleman’s games every since they offered on May 8th last year.

Local Stretch 4 Nick Farrar is Visiting NC State Next Week

2020 Forward Nick Farrar (6’7″/230) of Apex Friendship High School will be taking an unofficial visit to NC State next Tuesday, May 28th.

Farrar doesn’t hold any Power 5 offers at this point, or a star by his name, but does hold offers from Eastern Kenudky, Chattanooga, Houston, Mt. Saint Mary’s, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Stetson, and Towson.

Don’t expect it to remain that way. Farrar has been one of the hottest names on the AAU circuit this Spring, playing for Big Shots. He recently earned MVP honors at the Josh Level Classic.

Farrar took an unofficial visit to NC State back on February 2nd.

5-Star SG Jaden Springer Includes NC State in Top-11

2020 5-Star Shooting Guard Jaden Springer (6’4″/195) revealed his Top-11 schools earlier this week, and NC State made the cut alongside UNC, Florida, Wake Forest, Auburn, Maryland, Memphis, Tennessee, Villanova, Kansas and Texas.

ESPN ranks Springer as the #10 overall player nationally in the 2020 recruiting class, and the #1 player in the state of Florida. Rivals and ESPN rank Springer as the #3 Shooting Guard in 2020.

NC State offered Springer all the way back on August 24th, 2017.

Springer plays for IMG Academy down in Bradenton, Florida.

Head Coach Keatts and crew have consistently been in attendance at Springer’s games, and the top prospect has made an unofficial visit to Raleigh in the past.

NC State 1 of 5 Schools Prioritizing 4-Star C Mark Williams

According to Tipton Edits, NC State is 1 of 5 school prioritizing 4-Star 2020 Center Mark Williams (7’0″/230) the most, along with Duke, Ohio State, Stanford and UCONN.

The Wolfpack offered Williams last June, and were in to watch him play at the end of April. Stanford was the first of those 5 schools to offer Williams, but NC State was second a month later.

All 5 of the schools have been in to watch or visit with Williams in the past couple of weeks, but Stanford and Duke have taken in-home visits. The Blue Devils are the latest to offer.

247Sports ranks Williams as the #45 overall player nationally in the 2020 recruiting class, and the #6 Center. Williams plays for Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Virginia.

NC State Makes Final 7 for 4-Star Forward Terrance Williams

2020 4-Star Forward Terrance Williams (6’6″/215) listed NC State in his Final-7 last night via his Twitter account, along with DePaul, Virginia, Stanford, Georgetown, Notre Dame and South Carolina.

247Sports ranks Williams as the #91 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class nationally, and the #2 player in Washington D.C. Rivals ranks him as the #98 overall player nationally.

NC State offered Williams all the way back in 2017.

Williams plays for Gonzaga High School in Washington D.C.

He has already taken official visits to Virginia (September 21st, 2018), Stanford (October 5th, 2018), Notre Dame (May 3rd, 2019). NC State will hope to get one of his final two official visits.
