ON3 rates Cosby Jr. as a 4-star prospect, ranking him as the #90 overall player in the 2023 class nationally, and #4 player in the state of North Carolina. 247Sports ranks him as the #3 overall player in North Carolina.

NC State offered Cosby Jr. back on July 19th this summer. He has already taken 1 of his official visits to Wake Forest, and has 4 more scheduled to Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee and LSU.
