NC State Shortstop Robert Nedry Enters the Transfer Portal

NC State Freshman Shortstop Robert Nedry announced today that he will be entering the Transfer Portal with 4 years of eligibility remaining.

After discussing with my family, I have decided it is best for me to enter the transfer portal with 4 years of eligibility remaining. I would like to thank NC State for the opportunity, I am grateful for the relationships and memories I made this past year, my DM’s are open.

Nedry was a part of NC State’s 2024 recruiting class which D1Baseball ranked 5th nationally. He played for Westminster Academy in Lighthouse, Florida, batting .392/.505/.518 as a Senior. He also played travel ball with fellow Wolfpack Freshman Alex Sosa (Catcher) on the Scorpions Baseball Club.

Coming out of high school, Perfect Game ranked Nedry as the #6 Shortstop in the state of Florida, and the #30 prospect overall in the state. He was a 2-time All-American at the high school level.

Nedry saw action in 1 game for the Wolfpack this season on February 28th against Queens, walking in his 1 at-bat. Since he only played in 1 game, this season was a redshirt year for Nedry.
