Quotes

“I think the way the Cavs play kind of matches the way I play. The way they use their bigs to their strengths. That’s something I’ve always had in coaches, and that’s something that stood out immediately here.”

“Just looking forward to showing my improvement on defense.”

“I knew that once our season was over, we were going to have to hit the weight loss immediately. There was no doubt about that, but it’s kind of hard to change your whole diet in the middle of the season. You’ve been playing a certain way all year. It’s hard to change it all of a sudden.”

“I would say offensively, the main thing that I learned from these guys was getting off the screens quicker. Then on defense, guarding the ball screens, those are the two main things that I picked up over this time.”

I’m learning a lot on defense about how to get through rotations and ball screens, and ways to help certain players.”
