NC State’s 2025 Recruiting Class Ranks 48th After Newton Decommitment
Last night, 3-Star Defensive End Mykah Newton flipped his commitment from NC State to Miami. Also, earlier this week, the Wolfpack picked up a commitment from 3-Star Offensive Lineman Kage Payne, who flipped his commitment from Troy to NC State. Finally, the Wolfpack missed out on 4-Star Wide Receiver Shamarius Peterkin, who committed to Virginia Tech yesterday morning.
After the events of the week thus far, NC State’s 16-Man 2025 Football Recruiting class currently ranks 48th according to ON3.

The Wolfpack’s 2025 class currently ranks 10th in the ACC.
